After a recent series of data breaches, the next company targeted is the renowned pizza delivery chain Domino's India. The sensitive details and information of approximate 18 crore users are available on the dark web. The information leaked includes the name, email, phone number and even the GPS location of users. This comes in great scrutiny as a month ago; a hacker claimed to have gained access to 13 TB data of Domino's users, including details of over 180,00,000 orders which contained phone numbers, email address, payment details and credit card details of users. In April, Alon Gal, CTO of cybersecurity firm Hudson Rock, alleged that hackers were selling the users' personal information for around 10 BTC. However, Domino's India refuted all claims and said that no data related to the financial information of anyone was made accessible. Thereby, the incident did not impact the operation of the business in any way. The recent data breach was first flagged by cybersecurity researcher Rajshekhar Rajaharia, who discovered that the data had been made public for everyone on the dark web. The biggest threat is the misuse of the information to track people and their whereabouts through an alleged search portal. Domino's India is yet to make a statement.
