The personal website of Union Minister of State for Home G Kishan Reddy (http://kishanreddy.com) was hacked on August 15, 2020, by an unidentified person. This Tuesday, an official in his office said that the city police had been informed about it. In his statement, Kishan Reddy stated," It was his personal website which has all the details of his programs and activities with regard to his constituency.". After hacking the website, they posted some objectionable comments in which some are directed against India so, it is suspected the hackers could be from Pakistan. Sources said Reddy was maintaining the website even before he became union minister, and The website mainly contained Reddy's visits in his Lok Sabha constituency of Secunderabad and other political activities. Meanwhile, the higher official of Hyderabad police's cybersecurity wing confirmed that the case had been registered under the relevant section of the IT Act. Even from the last few years, Kishan reddy and few other BJP leaders have been facing some security threats, and Telangana police had provided him security. K Krishna Sagar Rao(party chief spokesperson) said, "BJP condemns Pakistan hackers' cowardly act to play rough on Indian websites."
