Scammers sending links to download 'Tiktok Pro' after Tiktok banned in India

After the ban of Tiktok in India, spammers have found a new way to trick Indians into a new phishing attack. People get SMS regarding a new app called TikTok pro, a new Indian version of Tiktok, that can only be downloaded using a link that they receive in the SMS. It is to be noted that this app is not available on the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store. Once the APK file is downloaded from the link, the installed app has the same logo as that of the original Tiktok app and asks for permissions like camera, storage, mic, and others, and then sits on the phone doing nothing. It is highly advised not to install this app as it can be spyware in disguise.
