Spacex Bitcoin Scam Features BTC Giveaway, Elon Musk, and NASA Launch

The SpaceX-Youtube Bitcoin scam video shows a live interview with Elon Musk about the recent SpaceX launch in collaboration with NASA. A URL and a Bitcoin address lead people onto a website entitled ‘Spacex Foundation 5,000 Bitcoin Giveaway Airdrop’, which claims to help out by giving away 5000 bitcoins. Users who participated were required to send any amount of Bitcoin from 0.1BTC and 20 BTC. They were reassured that they would instantly be returned twice the amount that they have transferred in bitcoins to the same bitcoin address. The scammers even urged people to retry if the transaction failed, claiming that the money from the first transaction would be refunded since a person can only participate once. Such frauds often occur when a sensational event takes the world by storm. YouTube has not yet taken down the video even after the incident being reported to Google by many users.
