It might sound strange, and even horrifying, but some security researchers have demonstrated that it is possible to track and recover any conversations by closely observing light bulbs. When soundwave hits a light bulb, the vibrations create a small flicker in the emission of light. Any communication or audio recordings being played in the room up to 25 meters away can be recorded, and the sound waves causing these variations can be recreated. This new eavesdropping technique has been named 'Lamphone' and was discovered by academics from Ben-Gurion University.
